The Atomic Bomb Dome, a World Heritage Site, is a permanently preserved facility dedicated to conveying the horror of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945, and was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1996. It remains exactly as it was at the time of the atomic bombing and is a popular tourist attraction in Hiroshima and a place of prayer for peace. It is a spot that must be visited at least once as a common heritage of mankind that should be preserved for the future. Peace Memorial Park is an urban park established after the war in the hope of lasting world peace. It is also known as the site of the Peace Memorial Ceremony held on the day the atomic bombs were dropped, and the sound of the Peace Bell in the park has been selected as one of the 100 best soundscapes in Japan to preserve. The Prayer Fountain and many other objects are placed in the park to pray for peace. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is located facing Peace Avenue, and displays items left behind by A-bomb survivors, as well as photographs and documents from that time depicting the devastation of the atomic bombing.

We absolutely agree that the Japanese language is not an easy language to master.
