  • By Public Transport

・Nearest City/Station: Yamagata City/Yamadera Station (山寺駅)

・Transportation: Take the Senzan line (仙山線) to Yamadera Station which will take you roughly 20 minutes to get there. Once you get off at the station, it takes 10 minutes by foot to get to the steps which will take you to the temple.
