Kagawa Prefecture, located on Shikoku Island’s northern part, is the smallest prefecture in Japan in terms of land area. Takamatsu, the largest city in Shikoku, is situated here, along with several small islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Modern art enthusiasts will enjoy visiting Naoshima and the surrounding islands, home to famous art installations and museums. Shodoshima Island is well-known for olive production and Angel Road. Kagawa is famous for its udon, and there are numerous noodle shops scattered throughout the prefecture.
