Sapporo is the political, economic and cultural centre of Hokkaido. Buildings that tell the story of Hokkaido’s history still remain, such as the former Hokkaido Main Government Building, which served as the provincial government for almost 80 years, and Hokkaido University, which opened in 1876 as the Sapporo Agricultural College. Sapporo Beer Garden in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, is a complex owned by the famous Sapporo Breweries, where you can enjoy Sapporo Beer, as well as the Sapporo Beer Museum, the only beer museum in Japan. Sapporo Odori Park, located in the centre of Sapporo, is a popular destination for many tourists and residents alike as a venue for seasonal events, as well as beautiful trees and flowers.

We absolutely agree that the Japanese language is not an easy language to master.
