Yamashita Park was opened in March 1930 and overlooks the Port of Yokohama. There is a 700-meter-long walking path along the harbor, and it is a place of relaxation for tourists and locals alike. The park is characterized by many monuments that evoke a foreign atmosphere, such as the “Girl in Red Shoes” statue and the “Indian Water Tower” donated by the Indian Association in Japan in 1937. Another must-see is the Hikawa Maru, designated as a National Important Cultural Property. The Hikawa Maru was renovated based on materials from its prewar days as an ocean-going passenger ship on the Seattle route, giving visitors a glimpse of what it was like in those days. The ship is the symbol of Yamashita Park, making it an ideal spot for taking pictures.

We absolutely agree that the Japanese language is not an easy language to master.
